Slower Load Times

Since I embed Google+ posts to compile my Marketing Skinnies, please bear with slightly slower loading times.

I am trying to figure out a way to speed it up (suggestions are welcome), but for now it is what it is.

A shout to Michael Bennet’s Photography

Thanks to +Michael Bennett for providing this week’s Marketing Skinny featured image!

You can see more of his incredible photos as well as purchase them at Michael Bennett’s Photography.

And by the way, this is just one example of building strong bonds on Google+.

Looks like a good roundup but all I get are the headlines which are not clickable and no other info. Were they meant to be clickable or was it just a roundup of headlines.

It was a glitch; working on a solution to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

    Hi Ana,

I am unable to see the Google+ embeds. Is there any issue?

WP Total Cache with Maxcdn will be a big help to improve loading time.

BTW, I have started a “Around the Blogosphere” section on my new blog, EsmeeNetwork.com, and it focuses on news concerning only freelance writing & blogging niche. I credited you as the motivation. Here’s the first update I did -http://bit.ly/1jFqyiF

    Thanks for the inspiration.

It appears certain browsers refuse to render G+ embeds, Chitra; I am working on a solution. Meanwhile, I’ll be providing links to G+ posts along with embeds.

Thanks so much for the mention by the way! Loved visiting your new blog; looking good.

      What does Esmee mean?

        Thank you Ana 🙂

Esmee is the short of “Renesmee”, a character in Stephanie Meyer’s ‘Twilight’ series. Simply loved the name 😉

    Hi Anna,

Just thought I should let you know the your Google+ embeds are not displaying on the latest version of Google Chrome on Windows7 64, at least on my PC (Ad blocker is off). Works fine on Firefox though as well as on Chromium in Ubuntu. You may want to check into that.

Not quite sure what’s causing it, but will definitely look into it; thanks for letting me know, Martin.

Actually I resolve the problem. Not sure what was causing it, but I had to completely uninstall all traces of Google Chrome from my PC and then do a fresh install. Now the Google+ embeds are working fine.

Interesting… Google Chrome messes up Google+ embeds? The left hand doesn’t know what the right one is doing?

Glad you figured it out, Martin; thanks for letting me know.

Temporary glitch, Karl; some browsers act up when loading G+ embeds.
